This is what he had in store for us...
I still can't believe it. I started this blog to share our story and completely believed that God was leading us down a different path. Yet He saw fit to bless us beyond measure. This Christmas I got to turn all my wants from last year into reality.
I got to experience the chaos of trying to get a 3 month old, 5 month old, and a 2 year old to smile and look at the camera. This reminded me why I could never be a photographer! At the peak of the chaos Blythe was eating her dress, Jewel was eating Olivia's dress, and Olivia was trying to bite a hole in her own dress. While all the adults were acting like goofballs and yelling bon jour behind the camera.
**Side story- Our niece Olivia is two and thinks the "french" guy on the insurance commercial is hilarious when he says bon jour. She laughs if you say it also.**
It was all a mess and it was wonderful.
I got to get my little girl all dolled up in her Christmas dress.
We experienced our first Christmas eve service. She did great.
She slept through almost every Christmas event we had and it was adorable.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is getting together with my family Christmas morning and eating breakfast. We did this growing up. As kids we would go to my aunt and uncle's in our pajamas and eat and open presents. As our families grew we split off and now we go to my brothers. I've always enjoyed it, but this year was by far the best. I got to take my little girl in her pajamas this year.
What a difference a year makes... What a difference our Lord and Savior makes.
