At one year old Blythe ... can walk (started at 10 months), practically run, climb, play hide-n-seek; can repeat everything you say and almost always uses it correctly after that; says mommy, daddy, and all her grandparents' names... even some aunts, uncles, and cousins' names; loves cheese, apples, grapes, and blueberries; loves baby dolls and books (she gets that one from me!); takes her nap in mommy and daddy's bed (bad mommy) but sleeps all night in her crib; no longer uses a bottle; still loves the paci; has a favorite song called 'Space Unicorn' (you should look it up...I don't think it was originally made for kids :); walks around yelling 'Hello!' into her toy phone; yells hi to everyone in a restaurant or store...yells even louder when they walk by and don't acknowledge her; gives the best hugs; has the biggest smile; blows kisses (to random boys in the grocery store!); weighs 20lbs and 11oz; is 30 inches long; can make you forget a bad day; is and forever will be our little sunshine.
I am so thankful that God chose me to be her mommy, that He chose her to teach me so many things about myself and life, and gave me this amazing year of seeing her grow, discover, and learn. I hope and pray I get to see at least 50 more.
Happy 1st birthday Blythe Elizabeth!!!
I'll leave you with pictures of Blythe's 12th month of life! Until next time...
The birthday party!!
The decorations:
Isn't this sun cake awesome?? It tasted great too!
Opening Presents:
She got a few she liked and kicked back in her new chair with them! Mommy had to open the rest without her!
Time to smash the cake!
To celebrate on her actual birthday we went to eat with some family and had a slice of chocolate cake!
Trying to blow out the candle!
The rest are random photos from the month!!

Going on her third vacation! Who doesn't like to travel with a bucket!
In Canyon Lake with daddy!
This is what her hair looks like after she smashes her grapes and rubs them in her hair...
She walked into the living room with my night shirt covering her head...I couldn't get my camera fast enough to catch it before she pulled it the rest of the way down! She couldn't get it off after that though!
Loves her new chair! Thanks Mimi!!
Making faces!
My kid is awesome.
